Nsf Funded

The National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program is an intensive course  sponsored by the government to help science-based startups learn about market requirements and how to run a company. There are two types of cohorts, regional and national. Last summer, we experienced the regional cohort and absolutely loved it. We interviewed 132 researchers to understand their needs and wants, learned about the business model canvas, and received ample insight from some great instructors. Now, we’re back for more.

We applied to the National I-Corps cohort in December and passed the formal interviews in January. It took a little while, but we have received confirmation that our application has been accepted! The government provides funding for early-stage companies to explore customer segments and dive further into the theory and application of product-market fit. We're honored to be accepted into the program and have received a $50,000 grant to travel the country and discover potential customers. In April, we'll be traveling from Atlanta to Boston, then all throughout the west and northwest coast!

If you're interested in participating in a customer interview, please give us a shout! I'll need at least 100.

We also had a wonderful time attending the Off The Grid (@OMCA) a few weeks ago.

We thought we were going for a Meetup, but ended up with that and so much more! There was even a DJ and dancing. Well, for some...

Updated Landing Page And Data Export

Quick, hop on over to Labii.com and check out our new landing page! Fans of simplification and  Tony Stark's JARVIS, we were inspired to create a new landing page design. Think of us as your JARVIS, always here to make your life easier and help your research in any way possible.
Updated Labii Inc. Landing Page
You'll see that we're still focussing on promoting our electronic lab notebook, we currently feel it can bring the most significant impact to accelerating research.

Furthermore, we've implemented a new feature. On top of daily database backups, you can now perform your own data dumps and backups. In the pursuit of complete compliance, we've added Export functionality. When a document is open, click "More" and then "Export"; we converted your document a .PDF  and store it in your Files section. When a bulk data dump is performed, like when you right-click on a folder of your choice, we zip all your documents in the folder into one file and save it in your Files storage so it's locked behind our account credentials.

If you have compliance questions or requests, please reach out to us and voice your comments and concerns. As always, if you ever have any questions about us, our products, or just want to chat, feel free to call or email anytime. I'm also happy to personally walk you through our platform if you need any assistance.

New Labii Dashboard

After months of working under the hood of the Labii platform and listening to many recommendations and requests, we have completed our big upgrade. For the first time EVER, a one-stop-shop for startups is available. The new Labii is group-centered, meaning your ELN, inventory manager (yep, that’s right, we built and inventory manager), files and website are all accessible in a transparent and collaborative forum.

Your Dashboard contains all groups you’re affiliated with (owned, member of, following (yep, you can now follow groups you’re interested in))

Here’s what a group looks like (on the right are your available apps, just click and you’re on your way!)

Group-Centered Platform:

Now everything is run through Groups. Create a group, add members, and manage your research information, inventory, files, and website, all through the group portal. This provides complete transparency, meaning more streamlined collaboration and information flow.

Inventory Manager:

Tired of keeping track of your inventory by hand or with Excel? Simplicity is key here - manage your inventory and research documents in one location by simply creating a table in the Inventory Manager.

Fraud Protection:

Double-signing is now in effect. Completed your research? Sign it as author and the document is locked. Ask your co-worker, manager, or PI to co-sign the document and within two clicks, you’re double signed and ready to publish.

Follow Others:

Groups that are created as “public” can be followed, just like a Youtube channel. Keep up to date on your peers research and create your own informed following.

As always, if you ever have any questions about us, our products, or just want to chat, feel free to call or email anytime. We want to get to know you!

Sincerely,
Corbin Chase
