New Feature To Import Your Word Documents To Labii ELN

In order to provide some more information about us and our venture on a more consistent basis, I’ve decided to start posting at least every Monday morning about fun experiences, what we've done, what we're doing, what we’re thinking, and really anything that (we think) is semi-interesting.
Lately we have encrypted all data in the databases to an insane level. We have been working hard on the ELN, started applying for government grants, created our awesome new feature Labii Sites, and have been trying to keep up with recommendations from beta-testers.

After many recommendations, we can finally upload text through “.docx” files. Don’t worry, for those who’re only familiar with “.doc”, it’s very simple to export your out-dated files into a “.docx” format (here's a Wiki How-To, I’m personally a huge fan of step 3 “Zamzar” - I have been using them for many years). What this means is you can select all your protocols really easily, click import, and open them to a template in our platform. Keep in mind, this is a brand new feature (last 24 hours) and there are still some small bugs we’re working through.

We will support importing Excel and other files as soon as we can get to it. Please send us comments if you’re depending importing a specific file type.

Lastly, if you’re interested in being the first to see our new products and help us debug them, please send us a pm to help@labii.com with the subject “Labii Developer” in the subject line.
You’re new faithful writer (hopefully),

Corbin Chase
